About the Film

15 years after being abducted, tortured, and left for dead by sadistic classmates, a chance encounter leads mild-mannered Jody on an unexpected path of vengeance.

Bridget Mabry

Jody Brickhall

Bridget Mabry found her love for acting in 2013, when she randomly
decided to take acting classes. Shortly after, she started booking
projects in the Cleveland area, as well as in Michigan. In the summer of
2017 she earned her first lead role in the feature film "My Summer in
Ohio." Along with her training in the Midwest, she studied improv, scene
study and hosting during a season-long stay in Los Angeles . Bridget
holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology which she feels helps her bring
nuance and complexity to her characters. Eventually, she hopes to make a
career out of acting and shed positive light on the film scene in Cleveland.

Jesse Dillon Sorrells

Michael Krogher

Jesse Dillon Sorrells received his bachelor's degree in Theatre from Kent State University in 2002. He began acting professionally in 2001 after signing with The Talent Group agency in Cleveland, then moved to Los Angeles in 2005 where he was represented by Coast-To-Coast Talent.
Having appeared in independent film projects and TV shows such as JAG, ER, Entourage, Charmed, Weeds and others, as well as in commercial campaigns for AT&T, Liberty Mutual Insurance, The Art Institutes International, etc., Jesse returned to Ohio in 2012. Since then he has appeared in feature films such as "Fathers And Daughters", "Pups United", and most recently as the antagonist, "Lonnie", in Robbie Barnes' award-winning independent thriller, "Whatever It Takes".

"It is an extra proud moment for me to be reprising my role of Michael Krogher while also making my directorial and screenwriting debut with "CUT: Reckoning", since "CUT" marked the first true film role of my career. It's a remarkable thing to have come all the way back to where I started and once again work with Carlos Quiros to continue a story that changed the course of my life! I'm looking forward to recapturing that same magic he did 15 years ago, and hopefully together we can help provide other ambitious young talents with the kind of boost that "CUT" provided to me!"

Jesse DiFranco

David Holland

Growing up with a love for acting and film, Jesse DiFranco began taking it seriously in his early 20’s after taking part in a workshop of the play Closer by Patrick Marber at Tri C Community College. From there, Jesse went on to Kent State University where began acting in films like Hell at Heathridge and series like Second Time Around.

Since then, Jesse has appeared numerous shorts (Goodbye Ohio, Ristretto) and a few features (Sic Transit Gloria, The Tale of the Sparrow). Jesse credits any acting ability he has to the many great performers he has watched and studied over the years, as well as amazing directors/crew members he has gotten to work with who have worked their movie magic to make him look believable.

Having a passion for film since childhood, Jesse is thankful for every opportunity he gets to work in the medium and for all the amazingly talented people he’s gotten to meet along the way.

Mona Bapat

Frankie Matthews

Mona began acting on the stage about 15 years ago in Phoenix, AZ and she has played roles such as Mrs.
Hudson in The Death and Life of Sherlock Holmes and Jessie in ‘night Mother. She has also had a few
experiences acting for the camera that led her to fall in love with the process of making a film. Mona hopes to
grow as a film actor and she wholeheartedly thanks Jesse for this opportunity!

Carlos Quiros

Jacob Matthews

The performance bug burrowed its way into Carlos' heart and mind at the early age of 8 when he and his friends would venture to Times Square, NYC and breakdance for hundreds of pedestrians and tourists alike. During High School, he performed in several award winning musicals displaying acrobatics, tap, jazz and singing prowess. In his adult years, he focused his attention to music produciton and event coordination where he entertained thousands over the decades. In 2003 Carlos wrote, directed, edited, composed and produced CUT, the original inspiration to CUT: Reckoning.

Danny Waz

Tommy Rendon

Danny Waz is a 30 year old actor, who has been acted in about 40 film projects over his four years of
acting. In that time, he played YG in the film Cleveland Allegories which won the 2016 Oregon Film
Festival for Best Short Film. He was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor in an Ohio Film at the
2017 Ohio Indie Gathering for his role as Kister in the feature film In-Production. Going forward, he
looks to continue to helping filmmakers see their work come to life.

Vincent Sarowatz

Dr . Mueller

Vincent Sarowatz is a Cleveland-area performer who has been acting in one form or another for almost 20 years. He got bitten by the acting bug when a coworker asked him to tag along on a theater audition for moral support. The director talked him into auditioning, he landed his first role, and was hooked. In 2016 Vince branched out into film with a role in a sci-fi web series. Since then he's had supporting roles in 2 feature films, filmed his first costar role in a cable television show, and performed in leading and supporting roles in a half dozen short films, all while continuing to work on stage. CUT: Reckoning is the first psychological thriller and Vince couldn't imagine a better script, cast, and crew to work with.

Larry DiBartolomeo

Sheriff Caldwell

Larry DiBartolomeo spent many years in the sports arena, having played Minor Pro Football for 19
seasons and earning an induction into Bedford High School, Ohio Northern University, and the Minor Pro
Football Halls of Fame. At the age of 40, Larry hung up his cleats, but didn’t give up his sense of
camaraderie.
Now, Larry has found another arena in which he’s able to forge new fellowships. About four years ago, he
was introduced to acting, and has since become more and more involved. He has appeared in six films to
date, has three projects lined up for the summer of 2018, and is looking forward to many more
opportunities in the future. In addition to the excitement he feels on set, he enjoys meeting and
interacting with so many different people with each acting gig.
Larry and his wife of 43 years, Toni, have two daughters, Dorian and Camille, and are the proud
grandparents of two young boys, Leo and Reed.

AJ Walker

Mark Myers

I love to entertain so I’m glad to have choose the field of acting. I enjoy the task of being different characters. I started looking into acting about two years ago. Since those two years, I’ve worked as an extra and had some speaking roles.
I’m excited to see how much I can achieve and learn while being an actor. One day, I’d like to annually give out a scholarship to a student at my former high school in performing arts to help their dream in becoming an actor or actress.

Jennifer Inks

Coroner

A farm girl from Fremont, Ohio turned actress, Jennifer Inks first stepped on stage performing in dozens of shows at The Ritz Theatre in Tiffin, Ohio after years of competing in baton twirling competitions in her earlier years. She eventually started performing in independent film productions and commercials.
Her most notable film projects include Huckleberry, Crybaby Bridge, Pi Day Die Day, Shelved, and Exit Interview in which she was just recently nominated for an award for “Best Leading Actress in a Short Film” at the Dreams Come True Film Festival being held this June. She has also made appearances in commercials shown regionally for Cincinnati Bell as well as nationally for the NFL shop.

Kolin Boyd

Barry Bryant

In addition to being the Lead Audio Engineer for CUT: Reckoning, Kolin Boyd is making his acting debut in the film as Barry Bryant. Born and raised in Canton Ohio, Kolin's passion for music has framed his career as a professional DJ. He spends much of his week enjoying his career as "DJ K.O.B." (aka: Your Favorite DJ's Favorite DJ). Kolin started at an early age when he was given the opportunity to DJ a house party for the parents of a childhood friend, and from there his interest and dedication to the art form grew immensely. Kolin went on to complete the Audio Engineering Program at the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH in 1999. Wishing to expand his skill, Kolin later returned to school, earning a Bachelor's degree in Music Technology from Kent State University in 2015 with a double concentration in Modern Audio and Commercial Music Production.
